Eyesaw has an underlying passion for subvertising advertising and reclaiming public space. He views all advertising in public space as his enemy.
Poor design, lack of imagination and the lies that we are force fed by greedy advertisers is what inspires his work. Eyesaw’s ability to think outside the box has enabled him to push the boundaries and explore new ways of engaging with audiences in the streets. His bus top silhouettes have have gained a lot of attention around the world and Eyesaw shows no signs of slowing down and is still at large.
His gallery work often combines reclaimed advertisements juxtaposed with amusing anecdotes…It is also reassuring to know that all funds raised from his gallery work are used to fight against ‘advertising terror’.
