The nomadic Matt Sewell originally hails from County Durham, the 34-year-old illustrator / artist?s work draws on his rural heritage, fusing fairytale-like narratives with bucolic and psychedelic landscapes. Contained within are elements of ancient British symbology, mysticism, a healthy mix of pretty girls and always his obsession with birds.
Creating a positive and progressive world that many don’t want to leave. Working across many mediums through his work as an illustrator Matt’s work has been used in the broadsheets of The Guardian and Zest magazine, on animations for Crown Paint and 3 mobile.
