Stitched Up

Palestine is an ancient country in the Middle East. It has existed for thousands of years yet in the last century it has almost been completely destroyed.

Since the end of the Second World War, Britain (which occupied Palestine) signed over the country and thus created Israel in the aftermath of World War II. Since then there has been a policy of occupation and a systematic, cultural destruction of Palestinian lands, resources and freedoms. This is Apartheid in the Middle East. ‘Stitched Up’ sees a new monument created that exposes the political relationships and power structures that reinforce the current, ongoing occupation of Palestine.
